The big idea behind the creation of Democratic Eyewear has always been the desire to offer exquisite design at transparent and reasonable prices. All prices include frames, ultra-thin lenses with three coatings, and an eye test.

We constantly receive new, stylish frames in our stores. We can’t update them all on the website immediately. You’ll find even more new frames in our stores.

We only sell designs that we absolutely love ourselves.

That’s why we never compromise on quality, craftsmanship, or materials.

We offer a wide selection of frames designed by renowned fashion houses such as Tom Ford, Karen Walker, Cutler & Gross, etc. – and from specialized boutique brands like Oliver Peoples, Haffmans Neumeister, Massada, etc.

What these two categories have in common is that they meet all our requirements for quality, aesthetics, materials, and meticulous craftsmanship.

As a third category, we have designed our own brand – Democratic Eyewear.

Democratic Eyewear was created with the aim of bringing the same pursuit of materials, aesthetics, craftsmanship, etc., as the two categories above – BUT at more democratic prices.

In our stores and on our webshop, you can buy glasses including single-vision lenses at prices starting from DKK 995 and going up to DKK 3,995. Glasses with progressive lenses start at DKK 2,995 and go up to DKK 5,995.

Our prices include frames, lenses (including three lens treatments), and an eye test.

It’s quite remarkable that our most expensive pair of glasses – including progressive lenses of the highest quality – costs only DKK 5,995. That’s what we call democracy.
